Job Summary:
The Network Manager, IT Operations, serves as a strategic partner and operational mentor within the Information Technology departments across the network. This role has the responsibility of ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the IT departments network-wide. This individual will manage departmental operations network-wide and provide high-level administrative support to executive leadership.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to executive leadership, providing insights and recommendations on key initiatives, departmental priorities, and organizational challenges.
  • Draft and manage executive-level communications, presentations, reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with network-wide strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate and manage key meetings, including executive leadership meetings, strategic planning sessions, and departmental reviews, ensuring effective agendas, action items, and follow-up.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues and challenges that may impact the IT department's performance
  • Monitor and report on the overall performance of the IT departments across the network, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement efficient administrative processes and procedures tailored for the IT environment, optimizing workflow and resource utilization.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of the IT department budget, track expenses, manage vendor invoices, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines for all campus'.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on IT departmental performance, key metrics (e.g., uptime, service desk performance), project status, and cybersecurity updates. Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for IT service improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA), and industry best practices.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in business administration, project management, and/or executive support, with a strong focus on IT, required
  • Healthcare IT experience, preferred

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, required. Equivalent combination of experience and education may be substituted for degree requirements.
  • Master's degree, preferred.

Licenses / Certifications:
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification, preferred.

Other:
  • Travel network-wide may be needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio), project management software, IT service management (ITSM) tools, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, healthcare IT regulations (HIPAA), IT service management best practices, and executive-level operations.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in an IT context.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced IT environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team management, and executive support skills within IT.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with IT professionals and executive leadership
  • Strong attention to detail, discretion, and a focus on IT security.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate complex information into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and other IT service management methodologies.
