Job description

This role requires a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven track record of success in sales and account management. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of the electronics industry and market trends.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and it includes but is not limited to:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and market share objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and new accounts.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to customers.
  • Negotiate and close complex sales deals.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports.
  • Assisting the manager in organization, planning and implementing strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and operations, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage communication between direct customers and internal, particularly with business operations in Korea
  • All aspects of customer support; project award efforts, NRE cost negotiations, sample quotes, PO requests and price negotiations, AR payment follow-up
  • Represent at industry events and trade shows
  • Contract negotiations
  • Lead and manage sales account team as needed
  • Regular customer visits are required
  • Travel is required

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree, Engineering Degree preferred but not required
  • 10+ years of experience in sales and account management within the electronics components sector
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional customer interface and customer service track record
  • Bay Area customer knowledge a plus
  • Possess strong organizational, time-management, and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of the electronics industry and market trends.
  • Semiconductor product knowledge a plus
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Hard working and result driven mind set
  • Multitask and prioritize workload and determine priorities
  • Detailed-oriented and results-driven
  • Strong/Advance computer abilities (computerized systems, mobile devices and MS Office)
  • Read, analyze and interpret work instructions and procedures
