Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have openings for a Rock Star Retail Manager who shares our passion for Food and Service. Retail Managers ensure the Café, Food Court featuring Local and National Concept Brand Outlets and Grab and Go outlets provide AMAZING food and service. This could be a great stepping-stone for an aspiring Food Service Director in busy and spirited setting!
Our Retail Manager oversees the Operations and Employee Management in Retail sales from all of our Food Outlets. Customer Relations is key with strong focus on HOSPITALITY and unexpected service. Must be able to read, write, use simple math, follow and give oral and written instructions. Experience desired in a Contract Dining Food Service setting such as Hospital, School, College, Senior Living or Corporate Dining accounts.
Retail Management maintains food quality, customer service in a cash handling retail food operation, with front and back of house responsibilities. May assume GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Requires related experience in retail food service management.
