Summary

Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam is seeking a passionate, people-focused, and results-driven Hotel Manager to support the General Manager in leading the hotel’s day-to-day operations and bringing the Hyatt purpose of care to life through exceptional guest and colleague experiences.

As a key member of the Executive Leadership Committee, the Hotel Manager will provide operational leadership across Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Guest Services, ensuring seamless operations, elevated service standards, and memorable experiences that reflect the Hyatt Regency brand promise. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Hotel Manager will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, enhancing guest satisfaction, maximizing financial performance, and fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, continuous learning, and colleague engagement.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel operations, preferably within luxury or upscale international hospitality brands.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire multi-functional teams while fostering a culture aligned with Hyatt’s values of empathy, integrity, respect, inclusion, experimentation, and wellbeing.
  • Strong operational and financial acumen with experience driving guest satisfaction, revenue performance, productivity, and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering exceptional guest experiences through service excellence and attention to detail.
  • An engaging and approachable leadership style with excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Passion for developing talent, empowering colleagues, and creating an environment where people can thrive.
  • Experience working closely with a General Manager to execute business strategies, achieve operational goals, and deliver sustainable results.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
