Job Title: Senior Manager, Client Accounting Services 

 

Department: CAS (Client Accounting Services) 

 

Location: Remote, must be based in California

 

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager for our Client Accounting Services Department to join our team. You will oversee and manage the accounting needs of our business, high-net-worth, and family office clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and client services, as well as the ability to manage a team and interact directly with clients.

Successful candidates should have the following:
  • 7+ years of experience in a controller or client accounting services position.
  • Proven experience in accounting and financial management
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and financial standards
Educational Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics is required.
  • CPA Certification or CPA in progress.  
  • MBA or MST Degree.
Responsibilities:
  • Generate new prospects and networking opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce a comprehensive set of internal controls and develop policies and procedures regarding accounting and financial-related issues.
  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycle, including all relevant journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, and associated reporting requirements.
  • Establish GAAP accounting standards and procedures.
  • Review financial reports and statements to ensure compliance with regulations and accuracy in reporting.
  • Prepare various monthly and annual corporate financial reports for clients, including consolidated financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, cash-flow statements, etc.
  • Support cross-functional accounting and finance systems implementation integrations.
  • Lead and guide staff through mentorship and assistance.
