Job description

Deliver advanced diagnostic excellence-combining high-quality X-ray imaging with expanded clinical capabilities in CT, MRI support, and contrast administration, all while keeping patients at the center of every exam.
At SimonMed, diagnostic quality starts with you. Our Advanced X-Ray Technologists play a critical role in delivering high-caliber outpatient imaging while supporting advanced modalities. From precision X-ray imaging to IV contrast administration and collaboration with remote imaging teams, this role ensures every exam meets the highest clinical standards in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for a technologist who thrives in a dynamic, team-based setting, brings advanced clinical capability, and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care. If you are seeking to expand your skill set beyond traditional X-ray and play a key role in advanced imaging workflows-this is where you belong.
What You Bring
Advanced clinical expertise:
You perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with precision while supporting MRI and CT workflows, including assisting with patient positioning and preparation. You confidently start IVs and administer contrast in accordance with protocol, ensuring safe and effective imaging procedures.
Mastery of standards and systems:
You understand anatomy, imaging protocols, and equipment across modalities. You maintain accurate documentation in RIS, PACS, and EMR systems while consistently applying radiation safety and infection control standards.
Agility and cross-functional support:
You adapt seamlessly in a high-volume outpatient setting-supporting both onsite imaging needs and remote operations through collaboration with the ROCC. You help coordinate patient flow, assist with complex cases, and keep workflows moving efficiently.
Patient-centered care:
Every patient receives your full attention. From screening for contraindications to administering contrast and ensuring comfort, you deliver safe, compassionate, and professional care throughout the imaging experience.
Mentorship and professionalism:
You guide students and less experienced technologists, providing hands-on training in imaging procedures, safety protocols, and patient interaction-helping build the next generation of imaging professionals.
What You'll Gain
Expanded clinical skill set:
Grow beyond traditional radiography by building competency in IV contrast administration and supporting advanced imaging modalities like CT and MRI.
Purpose-driven work:
Play a direct role in delivering accurate diagnoses by supporting complex imaging workflows that impact patient outcomes every day.
Collaborative team environment:
Work alongside technologists, radiologists, and remote teams in a highly coordinated, supportive clinical setting.
Predictable outpatient schedule:
Enjoy a consistent schedule with no overnight trauma, on-call shifts, or emergency room unpredictability.
Efficient workflows and advanced technology:
Operate within streamlined processes supported by modern imaging systems, allowing you to focus on clinical excellence.
Career growth opportunities:
Leverage your advanced skill set to expand into CT, MRI, leadership, or specialized roles within a national imaging organization.
You're a Strong Fit If You Have
  • ARRT certification in Radiography (R) - Required
  • Valid state licensure (as applicable) - Required
