Interventional Cardiologist
East Valley Heart | Mesa & Gilbert, Arizona
Position Overview
East Valley Heart is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving the East Valley communities of Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, and the surrounding Phoenix metropolitan area. This position offers a balanced mix of coronary and peripheral vascular interventions, with responsibilities across clinics, hospital, and catheterization laboratory settings.
Key responsibilities/services include:
  • Diagnostic cardiac catheterization and coronary interventions
  • Peripheral vascular interventions and endovascular procedures
  • Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultations
  • Echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiovascular imaging interpretation
  • Preventive cardiology and cardiovascular risk management
  • Collaborative management of complex cardiovascular diseases alongside referring physicians and specialists

The incoming physician will divide time between outpatient clinics in Mesa and Gilbert and procedural responsibilities at local hospitals, with approximately 2–3 days per week dedicated to cath lab activities.
The practice offers an established referral base and the opportunity to build both coronary and peripheral vascular volumes.

Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
  • Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine
  • Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology training programs
  • MD or DO
  • Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
  • Experience with coronary interventions required
  • Peripheral vascular training and experience preferred
  • Open to both experienced Interventional Cardiologists and current fellows
