Senior Contracts Analyst - Position Description

ICI Services-a 100% employee-owned company proudly celebrating 26 years ofexcellence-is seeking Senior Contracts Analyst toimmediately support our Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems Business and Financial Management Support (PEO IWS BFM) Team at the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Washington, DC

Security Clearance:
Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
โ€ข Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
โ€ข Enter financial data into government approved systems for obligation and procurement such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning or Standard Procurement System.
โ€ข Conduct analysis, report financial risk, and advise the government of strategies to mitigate the impact of financial risk.
โ€ข Assist with the development and issuance of formal financial policies and directives as required.
โ€ข Ensure compliance with DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) and DoD 5000 series acquisition policies and procedures.
โ€ข Provide support to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to improve current ad hoc or documented business rules.
โ€ข Assist in analysis of monthly burn rate analysis, trend analysis, multi-year historical performance.
Experiences:
โ€ข 8-10 years of experience in federal government contracting procurement, acquisition, or contract management.
โ€ข Demonstrated experience using AMS to support acquisition and contract management activities.
โ€ข Extensive experience processing and managing Purchase Requisitions (PRs).
โ€ข Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and procurement best practices.
โ€ข Experience reviewing and administering contract modifications, task orders, and procurement actions.
Education Requirements:
โ€ข Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Contract Management, Acquisition Management, or a related field.
