Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in customer relations, technical troubleshooting, and remote support and a proven ability to resolve complex hardware and software issues while delivering clear, professional communication.
Responsibilities:
Work independently using standard protocols to resolve complex customer issues.
Diagnose and resolve technical problems for hardware and software from customer contacts and proactive notifications.
Respond to service, product, technical, and customer-relations questions on features, specifications, and repairs for current and discontinued products based on entitlement.
Proactively assist customers to avoid or reduce problem recurrence.
Participate in projects and provide resolutions and feedback based on analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in customer-facing, remote, or telephone support with ability to resolve issues through verbal description.
Ability to diagnose to hardware FRU level and troubleshoot operating systems.
Knowledge of microcomputer hardware and basic operating systems software.
Experience updating and using Knowledge Management systems.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. Typically 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
Preferred Skills:
Ability to mentor or train team members on new and existing technologies.
Experience collaborating with engineering or lab teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
Work Arrangement and Details:
Hybrid at customer site. Work on site required.
Dress code: Business Casual.
Hours per day: 8.
