Full Time/First Shift
Supervises the secretarial staff and other assigned departments to meet the needs of the practice. Coordinates schedules, training and supervision, compliance, and on-site financial transactions for a multi-physician and extender outpatient office using general clerical, customer service and supervisory skills. Assists physicians and extenders in credentialing, travel, education/training, and personal scheduling to assure efficient utilization of resources for patient care situations. Assists PAR Supervisor Clinical, and HIM/Coding managers in clerical duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Supervises department secretarial and other clerical staff in all administrative duties.
  • Assures completion of forms for patients as directed by the physicians including; FMLA, Disability, Worker's Comp, etc.
  • Maintains old records in an off-site storage facility
  • Monitors financials, ensuring correct daily deposits and cash balances, reviewing discrepancies with Practice Manager immediately
  • Ensures positive customer relation interactions with internal and external customers.
  • Manages difficult or emotional customer situations

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree required. Relevant healthcare experience of at least 3-5 years would be considered in lieu of education requirement.
  • Clerical and computer experience preferred.
  • Medical Office experience preferred.
