Allworld Project Management (AWPM) is an Engineering & Construction Project Management Firm on a mission “to exceed client's expectations by delivering value added solutions one task at a time.” We are looking to add a Senior Construction Project Manager-Healthcare to our dynamic team. AWPM is based in Downtown Memphis, TN, with offices in Houston, TX and Birmingham, AL. This position is full-time onsite in Memphis, TN at the various project locations.

Position Summary:

A Senior Construction Project Manager - Healthcare position is currently available in our Construction Services department. Construction Services provides program management and owner’s representation services for commercial real estate and construction projects. The Senior Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the construction/development project overseeing the entire project life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).In this pivotal role, you will ensure project objectives are met on time, within scope, and budget, while fostering a collaborative environment with stakeholders and team members. Your expertise will drive innovation and excellence, contributing to our reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects.

Essential functions:

  • Oversee the planning, design, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets, and manage changes, as necessary.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Lead project teams, providing guidance and direction to ensure effective collaboration and productivity.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to avoid project delays and cost overruns.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is being completed according to project plans and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements.
  • Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring terms and conditions are met.
  • Facilitate problem‑solving and decision‑making processes to address project challenges.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve project efficiency and outcomes.
  • Mentor and develop junior project managers and project staff, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Lead post‑project evaluations to assess project outcomes and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Education- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Skills–Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management of healthcare facilities.
    • Proven record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
    • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project resources effectively.
    • Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies.
    • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
    • Ability to interpret and apply complex construction plans and technical specifications.
    • Familiarity with local, state, and federal construction regulations and standards.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate project teams.
    • Certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CCM (Certified Construction Manager) PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent is preferred.
    • Healthcare experience is preferred.

Working conditions:
