The ideal candidate is a high performer at a top-tier strategy consulting firm who is looking to transition into an internal strategy role in the sports industry.
This role works across all HBSE portfolio properties, including the Philadelphia 76ers, NJ Devils, Prudential Center, & other holdings.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED, TO THE BELOW:
  • Develop executive-ready presentations and strategic recommendations for senior leadership

  • Independently manage workstreams to deliver timely, high-quality outputs
  • Lead rigorous analyses, financial modeling, and scenario planning to inform decision-making
  • Proactively identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and operational improvement across the organization
  • Analyze the sports-business landscape to advise senior leadership on both ad-hoc projects and long-term business planning

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 years of experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm preferred, or comparable experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or media/entertainment (prior experience in sports is not expected)
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex issues
  • Driven self-starter who can work independently to meet objectives
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate with senior-level executives
  • Proven ability to manage time sensitive projects and a desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment
  • Passion for sports, entertainment, or media

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Travel Requirements: May be required to travel occasionally, including between HBSE's various offices.
  • Work Environment: This position generally requires that work primarily be performed from the 76ers' office in Camden, NJ.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $115,000 and $140,000/year. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This position will be an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

  • 13 Paid Holidays
  • ½ Day Summer Fridays
  • Complimentary or Discounted Sports & Concert Tickets
  • On Site Fitness Rooms
  • Other League & Partner Discounts
