Associate Director, Global Distribution


Location: Mechanicsburg, PA (Relocation Assistance Available)


Penta Search Group has partnered with a leading global medical technology manufacturer to identify an experienced Associate Director, Global Distribution to lead a critical distribution network supporting customers across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone passionate about building world-class distribution operations, driving continuous improvement, and leading teams within a complex global supply chain.


As the Associate Director, Global Distribution, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of the company's global distribution network, ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while continuously improving operational performance.

Key responsibilities include:


  • Lead global distribution center operations, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation.
  • Develop and execute strategies that improve customer service, inventory accuracy, productivity, and cost performance.
  • Build and monitor KPIs to drive operational excellence and accountability.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Quality, Planning, and Commercial teams to optimize end-to-end performance.
  • Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives across the distribution network.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality requirements within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.


The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in distribution, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain.
  • Experience managing multi-site distribution operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation, and fulfillment.
  • Demonstrated success leading operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP preferred).
  • Medical device, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
