We are seeking a Digital Delivery Project Manager to lead and assist our DOT clients in implementing digital delivery practices across their organizations. This role combines technical expertise, project management, and client engagement to drive transformative change in the way transportation projects are designed, delivered, and managed. The ideal candidate is someone who understands DOT design and construction processes.

The Digital Delivery Project Manager will work closely with DOT clients and internal staff to understand their needs, develop and implement digital workflows, and guide their transition to cutting-edge technologies. This individual will play a key role in aligning digital delivery practices with client goals, ensuring successful implementation of tools such as BIM, GIS, and data-driven systems.

What are the core responsibilities for the role?
  • Client Engagement:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for DOT clients implementing digital delivery initiatives.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define goals, requirements, and success metrics.
    • Maintain client relationships.
  • Project Management:
    • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets to guide digital delivery implementations.
    • Manage Digital Delivery project pursuits
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technology Integration:
    • Assess current client workflows, tools, and systems to identify opportunities for digital transformation.
    • Guide the Implementation and customization of platforms like ORD, Civil3D, SharePoint, ArcGIS, and other digital delivery tools to meet client needs.
    • Guide clients in adopting Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other data management standards.
  • Training and Support:
    • Guide the development of training materials and lead workshops to guide clients in their digital delivery implementations.
  • Innovation and Strategy:
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in digital delivery and transportation infrastructure.
    • Recommend and implement new tools and strategies to enhance efficiency and collaboration.

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the transportation engineering industry, digital delivery, and/or related fields.
  • Experience working with DOTs or similar public-sector organizations is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in BIM, GIS, and digital project delivery tools and workflows.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to lead complex initiatives.
  • Understanding of tools such as ORD, ArcGIS, FME, SharePoint, Autodesk, or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience conducting training or workshops.
  • Ability to analyze workflows and recommend actionable improvements.
