Join Our Dynamic Team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist! - Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30) - Weekly Hours: Full-time - Community Hospital Experience: Preferred - Patient Ratio: 1:1 - Daily Patient Census: 8-10 - Number of Rooms: 2 Key Responsibilities: - Conduct general nuclear medicine studies, including SPECT and nuclear cardiology studies - Perform a variety of scans: - Bone, Brain, Liver, Renal, Thyroid Studies - HIDA Scan, Muga Scan, Gastric Emptying, and DEXA Scan - Manage procedures involving pharmacological stress and adenosine infusion - Draw venous blood and start/maintain IVs - Store, handle, and dispose of radioactive materials safely Preferred Skills: - Competence in PET and nuclear medicine equipment - Experience with GE gamma cameras and Siemens PET CT - Execute whole body and limited scans, including utilization for tumors and hemangiomas Certifications Required: - NMTCB - PET certification - Preferred certifications: ACLS, ARRT N, BLS, CNMT, and NMTCB Additional Information: - On-call responsibility approximately once a month - Opportunity for 1st time travelers - Professional attire: Scrubs in Royal Blue or Khaki Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
