Job description

Nuclear Med Tech

Job Title: Nuclear Med Tech

Profession: Medical Technology

Specialty: Radiology

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 07:00 - 17:30

Hours per Shift: 10

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience

License: N/A

Certifications: BLS, ARRT Nuclear Medicine Certification

Description: The unit has a total of 435 beds and consists of 3 staff members. The staffing includes 2 members for day shifts and none for night shifts. Patient ratios are not applicable. The type of equipment utilized includes a GE Discovery system. Documentation is managed through a Meditech system. Call requirements are from 7 PM to 7 AM for 4 days per week. Typical procedures performed on the unit include all general nuclear medicine procedures. The dress code requires black scrubs. Candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and able to function independently. No previous travel experience is required.
