Compensation: $37.07 to $55.61 per hour (Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.)

Glens Falls Hospital is seeking a NYS Licensed or Registry-Eligible Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our tight-knit, collaborative diagnostic team. We offer a stable day-shift schedule, ongoing, department-specific training and organizational education programs, and exceptional quality of life with predictable daytime hours and effortless access to top-notch outdoor recreation.

  • Stable Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. No standard call rotation: on-call is limited to just 3 specific emergency exams and compensated with a generous set flat fee.
  • State-of-the-Art Care: Work with advanced equipment including a GE 850 SPECT/CT and GE 640 SPECT/CT in our critical inpatient setting, alongside a GE Omni PET/CT and GE Ventri at our offsite locations.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential (Responsibilities)

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET procedures alongside board-certified radiologists and cardiologists.

  • Manage hot lab workflows, including strict quality control, daily calibrations, and safe radiopharmaceutical handling/disposal.

  • Maintain precise documentation within RIS, PACS, and Dose Management systems.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to continuously improve patient comfort and imaging efficiency.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

Education/Accredited Programs

  • Successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program

  • 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred

Licenses/Certificates/Registrations

  • Current New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist License, or eligible to apply for NYS licensure (out-of-state candidates must apply to the NYS Department of Health).

  • CNMT (NMTCB) or ARRT(N) certification required.

  • CPR Certification required (can be obtained at hire)

Experience/Abilities

  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, students, staff, and physicians

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to a variety of people

  • Ability to promote and work in a team setting

  • Ability to coach and teach less experienced team members

  • Strong computer literacy skills required

  • Strong Problem solving, trouble shooting, and critical thinking skills required
