About the Role
Five Star Breaktime Solutions is a premier provider of away-from-home convenience services, committed to delivering innovative breaktime solutions that enhance customer experiences. We're looking for an organized, hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee inventory, purchasing, and daily operations for our warehouse team. You'll manage stock levels and purchasing to support all lines of business, ensure accurate weekly inventories, and keep documentation and reporting up to date. You'll hire, train, lead warehouse picking staff, manage scheduling to balance workload and time-off needs, and monitor performance reports to control costs and spoilage. Maintaining a clean, safe, and audit-ready facility is a top priority, along with adherence to safety and food safety standards. You'll also oversee equipment, foster strong communication across teams, and stay current with internal systems like VendSys and LightSpeed. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives on keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage warehouse purchasing and inventory levels, ensuring accurate weekly inventory counts and proper documentation (invoices, requisitions, transfers, etc.).

  • Support LOB sales activities including product purchasing, rotation, placement, and mapping.

  • Hire, train, and manage warehouse picking staff; oversee scheduling to balance labor needs with employee time-off requests.

  • Monitor daily/weekly reports to control spoilage, labor costs, and data integrity; analyze variances and implement corrective actions.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, audit-ready warehouse in compliance with safety and food safety policies (signage, forms, SOPs).

  • Conduct regular self-audits (pick and warehouse audits) and staff meetings to maintain communication and performance standards.

  • Oversee building and fleet vehicle maintenance, equipment upkeep (handhelds, forklifts, racking, etc.), and overall facility security.

  • Maintain technical proficiency in internal systems ( VendSys , LightSpeed) and communicate regularly with the Director of Warehouse Operations on needs and updates.

  • Step in to perform warehouse personnel duties as needed to support operations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the day.

  • Must be able to consent to a drug screen and pre-employment background check.
