Job description

GA Pre-K Lead TeacherAbout Us

At Otter Learning, our mission is simple yet powerful: “Be Safe, Be Kind – Let’s Grow Together.” We believe education goes beyond the classroom and prepares children for life. With schools across Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Maryland—and more to come—we are looking for passionate educators to join us on this journey of growth.

We foster a collaborative culture where teachers are supported, developed, and given opportunities to grow into leadership roles as we expand our programs.

Role Overview

As a GA Pre-K Lead Teacher, you will serve as the primary educator in the classroom, ensuring high-quality instruction aligned with Georgia’s Pre-K program standards. You will design and lead engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that inspire a love of learning, foster social-emotional growth, and prepare children for kindergarten success.

You will also:

  • Create and implement lesson plans aligned with state Pre-K guidelines and curriculum.

  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Support the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of children.

  • Partner with parents through consistent, open communication.

  • Ensure compliance with GA Pre-K state requirements.

  • Collaborate with Assistant Teachers, Directors, and staff to deliver excellence in care and education.

Our Promise to You

We value our teachers as much as we value the children in our care. That’s why we offer:

  • Competitive Salary: Pay Range $20 to $30 hourly (commensurate with experience).

  • Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Voluntary Life, Short & Long-Term Disability, and more.

  • In-house training, professional development & educational assistance

  • Mobility Bonus if you assist at another location.

  • Tuition Discounts for your own children.

Requirements:

  • Age: Must be 18 years or older
  • Education: Bachelors in Education or equivalent.

  • Experience: Proven experience in a classroom setting is preferred.

Pay: Salary depending on credential type and years of experience
