The Supply Chain Forecasting Analyst leads the demand forecasting process for the business group and provides analytical support across supply chain operations. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts, analyzing market and demand trends, and supporting inventory optimization and working capital initiatives, while driving data-driven planning, operational improvements, and cross-functional decision-making.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Manages the current and future demand sales forecast for the business, including creating and submitting monthly demand forecasts for three key business channels in collaboration with the sales team, product management and the business group finance team
  • Drives and measures forecast accuracy of key products and channels, improves forecast accuracy, root cause deviations, and designs methods to improve
  • Monitors demand forecast relative actual results, raising any concerns in trends to Sales and Executive leadership for root cause and corrective action as needed
  • Provides analytical support across supply chain operations including inventory management, open purchase order tracking, SKU rationalization, service level performance, and working capital improvement initiatives
  • Analyzes and improves master data quality and reporting accuracy across planning and supply chain systems
  • Partners cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Procurement teams to identify and resolve planning and execution issues impacting inventory, supply continuity, and customer service
  • Develops and automates reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools to improve business visibility and decision-making
  • Supports ad hoc operational and supply chain analysis as business priorities evolve
  • Identifies opportunities to improve processes, system utilization, data integrity, and planning efficiency through automation and analytical insights

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Business, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Finance or other related field or equivalent experience

Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Experience working directly with sales team members on creating demand forecasts
  • Experience in forecasting or demand planning in a multi-channel environment
  • Previous experience with SAP and Business Intelligence systems
  • Previous manufacturing industry experience preferred

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and communicate actionable business insights
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with inventory analysis, supply chain metrics, and operational reporting preferred
  • Proficient with statistical forecasting software and techniques preferred
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred
