Reporting Manager, FP&A

Location: Northeast Ohio
Travel: 10–20%

Position Summary

The Reporting Manager, FP&A is responsible for leading financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and planning activities that support strategic business decision-making. This position partners closely with senior leadership, accounting, and operational teams to deliver accurate financial insights, improve reporting efficiency, and support organizational performance initiatives.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Analyze variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial reporting data
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles across business functions
  • Develop financial models to support operational and strategic initiatives
  • Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs
  • Collaborate with department leaders to evaluate business performance
  • Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to leadership
  • Create executive-level dashboards and presentations
  • Translate complex financial information into clear business narratives
  • Present financial findings and recommendations to senior management
  • Identify and implement improvements in reporting processes and tools
  • Support automation initiatives, including AI-driven reporting enhancements
  • Partner with accounting and corporate finance teams to ensure timely and complete reporting compliance
Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • MBA or CPA preferred
  • 5–10+ years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or corporate finance
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems such as SAP, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools

Working Conditions
