HarnessTeam Leadership
Lead the Harness Design Teamofthe Power Systems Group, toplan,design, develop, prototype, inspect,releaseand documentelectricalharnessesand associated components,for new productdevelopmentandcost andquality improvements-from residential products through the largest zero-turn rotary mowers on the market.
Collaboratewithinternal teams, groups, and divisions,todefineharness requirementsand scope, estimate schedules,budgets,costs,and resourcesfornew productdevelopment, as wellas to improve quality, reduce cost, improvelead-linesand resolve harnesssupplierissues.
Manage and lead the harness team thatresidesin three locations:Toro HeadquartersinBloomington, MN; Exmark Divisionin Beatrice, NE; and the India Technology Center in Pune, India.
Plan resource needs, and recruit,develop,mentor,andmanagetheperformanceand engagementof your team.
Technical Leadershipand Design
Perform all aspects of harness design anddevelopment;including architecturedesign, schematicentry, harness routing,componentselection,harnessassembly, testing, verification,machinefit-up, supplier support,documentation.
Oversee your team's worktoensure robust, manufacturable, and serviceable electricalharnesssolutions that meet performance, cost, quality,manufacturability,and regulatory requirementsand expectations.
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Required Education and Experience
Associate's Degree inElectricalEngineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, orarelatedtechnical discipline.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstratedunderstanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, connector systems, and harness development processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with off-road equipment, turf care equipment, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, or automotive systems.
