About the Epicenter:

The Impact & Prosperity Epicenter will equip a distinct group of students and professionals driven by a shared vision and mission for the betterment of people and the planet. Considered the "soul" of campus, this living-learning space will prepare students to become thoughtful global citizens committed to enriching the lives of others.
The building features six stories of residential living with a variety of room types to suit the individual needs of 778 students at different stages in their academic career. Residents will converge in the Forum, the gathering space that brings together a broad community of students and practitioners united by a passion for change. Here, residents will convene to participate in trainings, workshops, guest speakers, cultural events, impact collaborations, networking events, conferences, mentorship, community outreach and more.
Job Summary:
The Impact & Prosperity Epicenter is committed to providing next level resident, student and guest service. We pride ourselves on being the gold standard in creating an impactful residential experience through programing that support student aspirations. The Hospitality Lead helps create an environment and culture of customer engagement and services for residents, students and guests at the Impact & Prosperity Epicenter while managing all of the hospitality desk services. The Epicenter hospitality desk is a comprehensive service provider operating 24/7/365. The hospitality desk will engage with residents, students, guests, and others in assisting with questions and providing guidance
as needed. This role will oversee the management of an integrated mailroom and provide onsite oversight to all Epicenter spaces. The position incumbent should anticipate being an integral part of the Impact & Prosperity Epicenter operation.
Responsibilities
24/7 Hospitality Desk & Shift Operations Management
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for residents and guests while promoting a culture of high-touch service and operational excellence.
  • Complete daily shift procedures to ensure seamless 24/7/365 operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards across the hospitality desk and mailroom.
  • Maintain active oversight of multiple required operational systems.
  • Identify, document, and escalate facilities, custodial, safety, or resident-impacting concerns.
  • You will be required to work holidays as assigned.

Building Liaison & Inter-Department Communication
  • Ensure consistent shift transitions through detailed documentation and coordination with Campus Security and other departments.
  • Submit incident reports and document shift activity as required.
  • Conduct scheduled building walkthroughs to maintain presentation, safety, and operational readiness throughout public spaces.
  • Supports and mentors Student Workers to ensure best practices.
  • Develops and maintains effective collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, partners, administration, and guests.

Mailroom & Parcel Locker Operations (High-Accountability Environment)
  • Oversee full lifecycle management of resident and business mail operations in a high-volume setting.
  • Receive, log, code, distribute, and audit packages and paper mail using proper tracking systems.

Keys, Access, & Inventory Management
  • Maintain strict accountability of keys, temporary access cards, and shared resources.
  • Perform formal key audits and reconcile system records with physical inventory.
  • Audit shared resources to ensure items are returned, functional, and properly documented.
  • Escalate discrepancies or missing assets through established reporting procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), plus one year of directly related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
