Accounting Manager

Pay: $130,000

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead general accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities within a fast-paced corporate manufacturing environment. This individual will play a key leadership role supporting financial accuracy, process improvement, compliance, and business decision-making while partnering closely with operational and executive leadership teams.


Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.

• Prepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and supporting schedules.

• Lead and develop accounting staff while driving accountability, process improvements, and strong internal controls across the organization.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and operational finance initiatives in partnership with leadership teams.

• Coordinate annual audits, support external auditors, and ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Assist with technical accounting research, policy implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives related to systems, reporting, and financial processes.

• Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, tax, and leadership teams to support strategic business initiatives and operational performance.

• Analyze financial data and key metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.

• CPA designation strongly preferred.

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting experience.

• Prior experience within manufacturing, distribution, automotive, or industrial environments preferred.

• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and month-end close processes.

• Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills required.

• Proven leadership ability with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
