Job description

General Summary of Job Duties

Responsible for defining project management processes to include, project management, scope definition, risk identification, resource allocation, change management and project review. Manage the successful completion of strategic IT projects crossing business teams and departments, while coordinating with different departments, ensuring all needs are met prior to, during and after installations.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintains organizational documents: knowledge base, MS Project, and project documents.
  • Maintain unified communications systems on site.
  • Participates in requirements gathering, SOW, RFP, and scope management processes.
  • Establishes and communicates goals and directs project team activity.
  • Creates and maintains standards for IT projects, leveraging appropriate methods and practices to manage and control the project.
  • Handles communication between project team and all impacted stakeholders.
  • Plans deployment and implementation of assigned projects.
  • Provides end user training as needed.
  • Identify inefficiencies and create processes to improve upon.
  • Support internal and external resources during deployment.
  • Credibility and character to manage a diverse team in a multiple location environment.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environments.

General IT Functions as Necessary

  • Cross-trained in selected other IT functions.
  • Follows SOPs and updates SOP appropriately.
  • Ensures computing systems are operating in compliance with the Gaming Control Board regulations.
  • Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Silverton STYLE.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
  • Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with Managers and vendors.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Team Members, and Vendors.
  • Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
  • Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
  • Arriving on-time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.

Skills, Education & Other Requirements

  • College degree in the field of business, information systems, project management is preferred or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ Years of direct experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of the process development and execution.
  • Strong casino or hospitality services industry experience preferred.
