This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives both in the dealership and in the field to build strong relationships, solve business transportation needs, and deliver complete Ford fleet solutions. This position will also be integral to educating our prospective and existing customers on their options for parts, service, telematics, upfitting, and anything else that can help make their business successful.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Territory Development:
  • Prospect, acquire, and grow commercial accounts, both remotely and through on-site visits.
  • Build strong relationships with business owners, procurement teams, and fleet managers in key industries such as construction, trades, landscaping, delivery, and municipal services.
  • Conduct needs assessments to match clients with the right Ford Super Duty trucks, Transit vans, and commercial vehicle solutions.
  • Develop strategic territory plans to drive new business and grow market share.
  • Bundle Service, Maintenance, Parts and Support into Every Quote: Present ESC service plans, maintenance schedules, priority lane access, mobile service options, and fleet reporting as standard fleet support-not optional add-ons.
  • Integrate Ford Telematics and Fleet Management Tools: Demonstrate how connected vehicle data, fault alerts, maintenance tracking, and real-time fleet visibility reduce unplanned downtime and streamline lifecycle management.

In-House and Remote Sales Execution:
  • Manage commercial leads with priority and professionalism.
  • Conduct virtual and on-site product presentations, vehicle walk-arounds, and proposal reviews.
  • Prepare competitive quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales for both single-unit and multi-vehicle opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM with up-to-date account notes, opportunities, and follow-up activity.

Account Management and Customer Success:
  • Serve as the dedicated point of contact for assigned commercial accounts.
  • Provide consultative support regarding fleet lifecycle planning, financing options, maintenance strategies, and Ford Pro Elite service solutions.
  • Build long-term customer loyalty through consistent follow-up and value-driven engagement.

Marketing and Events:
  • Represent Woody Anderson Ford at vendor showcases and business expos.
  • Attend commercial trade shows, industry events, and professional networking functions to generate new opportunities and increase brand visibility.
  • Build relationships with vendors, associations, chambers of commerce, and trade organizations.
  • Promote Ford commercial solutions, upfit capabilities, and the Woody Anderson Ford brand through professional presentations and product displays.
  • Support event setup, booth management, lead capture, and follow-up activities to ensure maximum ROI from each event.

Up-fit and Vehicle Integration Coordination:
  • Work closely with local up-fitters to design and complete customized vehicle builds.
  • Ensure accurate communication of build specs, timelines, and customer expectations.
  • Coordinate schedules, approvals, and delivery timelines between the dealership, upfit vendors, and customers.
  • Oversee the full life-cycle of the sale-from order to final delivery-ensuring quality and accuracy.
