Summary

Join a team at the forefront of bovine reproductive innovation, where your expertise directly impacts the success of client breeding programs. As a Professional Services Technician, you will play a critical role in advancing embryo production and transfer outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of animal care, biosecurity, and customer service. This role offers a hands-on, highly technical environment suited for individuals passionate about bovine reproduction and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.

Responsibilities

  • Flush and transfer bovine embryos
  • Perform ultrasound-guided transvaginal ovum pickup procedures for IVF embryo production
  • Design and review superovulation and synchronization protocols for donors and recipients
  • Evaluate pregnancy status post-transfer using ultrasonography
  • Assess fetal gender, viability, and quantity in various embryo programs (including IVF and research embryos)
  • Conduct rectal palpation to evaluate reproductive status of recipient cows
  • Execute, monitor, and enhance farm-level biosecurity protocols
  • Maintain a professional, customer-focused presence aligned with company standards

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Bovine Reproduction or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Strong technical proficiency in reproductive procedures and cattle handling
  • Ability to work long, physically demanding days during peak seasons
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and sustain prolonged periods of standing and manual work
  • High level of dexterity, hand coordination, and precision in technical procedures
  • Passion for bovine reproduction with a commitment to continuous learning
  • Strong customer orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
