Job description

This organization provides end?to?end order?to?cash management and logistics infrastructure to support the growth of consumer product brands. By increasing efficiency and simplifying operations, the team helps clients convert non?value?added activities into strategic advantages, including improved retailer relationships, optimized freight and warehousing costs, streamlined deductions, and enhanced operational performance.
Order Processing Team The Order Processing team manages all orders received via EDI and resolves data discrepancies related to pricing, UPCs, case packs, and payment terms. The team collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, clients, and retail customers to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
The EDI Coordinator partners with the EDI service provider, trading partners, and the internal order processing team to ensure the seamless flow of EDI documents and timely resolution of issues. EDI Coordinator - Temp to Perm
Location: Hybrid - Wayne, PA Compensation: $30-$33 per hour
Primary Responsibilities
  • Monitor the EDI email inbox; respond to and resolve EDI?related technical inquiries and error messages
  • Review and resolve issues related to 824 and 864 transactions; resend corrected documents as needed
  • Review 860 transactions and determine feasibility of purchase order changes, escalating to appropriate team members when required
  • Follow up with customers and clients when 997 acknowledgments are not returned for outbound documents
  • Run reports to identify missing or failed EDI transactions
  • Assist with EDI testing for new trading partners and/or transaction sets
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support documentation efforts
  • Perform additional EDI?related tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong working knowledge of EDI transaction sets, including 850/875, 810/880, 856, 855, 860, 824, and 864
  • Experience with EDI platforms such as EDISoft or MerchantCloud is a plus
  • Prior experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or retail environments preferred
  • Proficient in Excel and Outlook; SQL experience is a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and relationship?building abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast?paced environment
