Job description

Department: Echocardiography, Work Hours: Monday thru Friday 8hr/days, assist with Sunday coverage, as needed. Cross campus responsibilities HVB, HVS and HVK. Must be flexible with work hours and willing to scan to accommodate the departments needs, schedule, and patient volume.

The Supervisor, Echocardiography is responsible for the effective daily operation of the echocardiography service.  This includes all technical, quality, safety and regulatory requirements necessary to ensure the optimal function of the service.

Qualifications:    

            Required:  

  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Supervisory or management experience in a health care environment.
    • Experience with Digital Echocardiography/PACS
    • Must demonstrate effective communication skills and work compatibly with physicians, technologists and other departments
  • Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

 

            Preferred: 

  • Experience with computer applications
