This role is for one of our clients
Compensation: $65-$90 per hour
We're building a select group of experienced civil engineers to help improve how advanced AI systems understand, evaluate, and reason about civil engineering topics. In this role, you'll apply your practical engineering expertise to review AI-generated content, answer technical questions, and provide feedback that helps improve the accuracy, reliability, and real-world usefulness of AI systems in civil engineering.
This is a flexible, fully remote, part-time opportunity requiring approximately 10 hours per week, with the potential for continued collaboration based on project needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate AI-generated content related to civil engineering for technical accuracy, completeness, and engineering soundness.
  • Provide clear, well-supported answers and expert feedback based on your professional engineering experience.
  • Recommend authoritative references, engineering standards, and technical resources relevant to your area of expertise.
  • Share insights into real-world civil engineering workflows, project execution, design processes, documentation, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary subject matter experts to improve AI model quality and consistency.
  • Identify technical inaccuracies, ambiguous guidance, and opportunities to improve AI-generated engineering responses.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States.
  • 2+ years of professional civil engineering experience, preferably across multiple disciplines such as structural, geotechnical, transportation, water resources, construction, or municipal engineering.
  • Strong familiarity with applicable engineering codes and standards, including ASCE, IBC, AASHTO, and related regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, STAAD, Revit, Bentley applications, or similar tools.
  • Experience preparing technical specifications, engineering reports, design documentation, or training materials is preferred.
  • Comfortable using modern AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms.
  • Based in the United States.
  • Professional-level English communication skills.
  • Able to consistently commit approximately 10 hours per week.
Engagement Details
