Gupta Media was founded over 25 years ago on the idea that advertising could create huge leverage in our clients' businesses. Our work initially focused on the entertainment industry, specifically live events and recorded music (SXSW, Sony Music, Universal Music, and Disney Music Group are all clients). We have grown to include global brands (Amazon, Sophia Learning), major sports franchises (X Games, Florida Panthers, Washington Commanders, Cleveland Cavaliers, Women's Tennis Association), as well as public sector institutions (City of Boston, Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism).
Gupta Media is looking for an experienced Senior Social Media Strategist who works at the intersection of creativity, culture, and business. In this role, you will lead social and influencer strategies to connect brands with audiences, drive engagement, and deliver business results.
As a trusted client partner, you'll lead strategic conversations, present recommendations, and translate performance data into insights. You'll collaborate closely with Paid Media, Creative, & Analytics teams to develop integrated campaigns and content plans that drive results.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop and lead social media, content, and influencer strategies that drive client growth through audience insights, platform trends, and performance data;
  • Act as a trusted client partner, leading planning discussions, presenting recommendations, and identifying opportunities across social channels;
  • Collaborate with Creative and Paid Media to deliver integrated social campaigns;
  • Lead influencer marketing campaigns from strategy to measurement and reporting;
  • Mentor Social Media Managers to elevate the quality and strategic thinking of their social media work across accounts.

Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in an agency or marketing role with a dedicated organic social media focus;
  • Strong portfolio of successful campaigns, demonstrating creative storytelling ability across multiple social platforms that build awareness, engage new and existing customers, and increase conversions;
  • Excellent communication and creative thinking skills with the ability to use data to inform strategic decisions;
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills;
  • Confident in presenting and defending social strategies to clients, stakeholders, and internal leadership teams
  • Driven to learn new things and constantly improve on current methods;
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to work in a variety of media, meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adjust as circumstances change.

Compensation
At Gupta Media, base salary is one component of our total compensation and benefits package. For this role, the anticipated base salary range is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. This role is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan, which is based on the company's performance.
