Job description

Koroseal is seeking a strategic and commercially focused Direct Sales Manager to lead the growth and day-to-day management of the company's Direct Sales business, including International Distribution, Domestic Private Label, OEM partnerships, and Korographics digital media solutions.
This role is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team while driving profitable revenue growth, strengthening strategic customer relationships, and executing commercial initiatives across multiple sales channels. Working cross-functionally, this position serves as the commercial leader for Direct Sales initiatives from concept through execution.
The Manager, Direct Sales reports to the Senior Vice President and is based on site at our Louisville Manufacturing operation. Annual travel is estimated at 20-30% domestic and international.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Revenue Growth
    • Develop and execute strategies to grow Direct Sales revenue across International Distribution, Domestic Private Label, OEM, and Korographics while identifying new market opportunities.
    • Build and strengthen strategic customer relationships through regular business reviews, industry engagement, and proactive account management.
    • Develop pricing strategies and evaluate new business opportunities that drive profitable growth and align with Koroseal's commercial objectives.
  • Product Strategy & Commercial Excellence
    • Partner with Product Development, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Sales to identify market opportunities, develop new products, and successfully commercialize new programs.
    • Lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance the customer experience, improve product adoption, and strengthen Korographics and other strategic offerings.
    • Analyze sales performance, customer trends, and market data to recommend business strategies and support informed decision making.
  • Customer & Business Operations
    • Serve as the commercial lead for key Direct Sales, OEM, and international accounts by ensuring exceptional service, proactive communication, and successful project execution.
    • Maintain accurate customer, project, pricing, and pipeline information within Salesforce CRM, utilizing reporting and analytics to improve forecasting, visibility, and business performance.
    • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, business processes, and documentation that improve operational efficiency and consistency.
  • People Leadership
    • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing customer service team by establishing clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback, and supporting professional growth.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement aligned with Koroseal's Core Values and Behavioral Success Factors.
    • Partner with Human Resources on talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Process Improvement
    • Build strong partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Finance to align priorities and execute strategic initiatives.
    • Lead special projects and organizational initiatives that support business growth, process improvement, and operational excellence.
    • Represent Koroseal with professionalism while strengthening internal collaboration and external customer relationships.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in strategic sales, business development, product management, or account management.
  • Experience supporting international distribution, OEM, private label, or commercial product programs preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with experience developing pricing strategies and evaluating market opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build lasting customer relationships and negotiate complex business opportunities.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM or comparable customer relationship management platforms.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to walk and sit for long periods of time, ability to lift up to 20lbs safely
