Job Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:
  • Serve as the primary interface with customers and internal teams to ensure dimensional requirements are met and maintained.
  • Lead development, launch, and ongoing oversight of dimensional control processes from program launch through series production.
  • Program, operate, and support dimensional measurement systems and metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, Hexagon) to ensure product compliance.
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to dimensional data from measurement equipment and in-process sensors, including daily process stability reviews.
  • Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and validation efforts for dimensional issues, ensuring timely closure and repeat issue prevention.
  • Drive dimensional improvement initiatives to meet customer quality targets (PPM, incidents, RMAs) and support FMEA RPN reduction.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities, customer engagements, and interdepartmental studies while providing training and technical guidance to teams.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
  • HR Diploma or GED required
  • 2-year degree in a technical discipline preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING:
  • Preferably 7-10 years work related experience, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years' experience programming Zeiss / GOMs Scanning Units
  • 2 years of interpreting and responding to coordinate measurement reports, both internally and with an automotive OEM Customer.
  • GOMs / Zeiss Programming (Certification Preferred
