Job description

Restaurant General Manager — Buffalo Wild Wings

Location: New Orleans, LA

Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 / year + Monthly Bonus Potential

Position Type: Full-time

Bring the Energy. Lead the Squad.

If you live for gameday excitement, high-energy atmospheres, and leading a high-performing team, this is your stadium! We are seeking an experienced and driven Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations at our Buffalo Wild Wings location in New Orleans.

As General Manager, you aren't just managing shifts—you are running the ultimate sports dining experience while developing the next generation of leaders. You will own everything from guest satisfaction and team culture to sales growth and bottom-line profitability.

Why Join Our Leadership Team?

We are a privately-owned, multi-state hospitality operator with a dual-division platform spanning both sports bars and branded hotels across Louisiana and Mississippi. Joining our group means:

  • Local Support & Fast Decisions: Our executive leadership is right here in the Greater New Orleans area—not thousands of miles away in a distant corporate office. You get direct, hands-on support with zero corporate red tape.

  • Real Career Mobility: With both restaurant and hotel divisions, we offer unique long-term growth opportunities and career paths across concepts that few single-brand operators can match.

  • A Values-Driven Culture: We operate on three core pillars: Communication, Integrity, and Appreciation. We actively empower our managers and prioritize promoting from within.

What We Offer
  • Base Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

  • Incentives: Performance-based monthly bonus program

  • Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance options

  • Time Off: Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid sick leave

  • Perks: Dining discounts, flexible scheduling, and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee daily Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) operations to ensure top-tier guest service, food quality, and sports bar atmosphere.

  • Team Development: Recruit, hire, train, and mentor team members and assistant managers, fostering an engaging, accountable, and high-retention workplace.

  • Financial Management: Drive sales growth, manage food and labor costs, control operating expenses, and hit targeted P&L metrics.

  • Brand Standards: Ensure strict compliance with all brand guidelines, health department regulations, safety protocols, and sanitation standards.

  • Local Engagement: Execute gameday promotions, local marketing initiatives, and community events to keep guests coming back.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of General Management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or sports bar environment.

  • Track Record: Proven success managing P&L, inventory, food costs, and labor metrics.

  • Leadership: Strong communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, and a commitment to leading with integrity.

  • Certifications: ServSafe Manager Certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).

  • Flexibility: Availability to work standard hospitality hours, including evenings, weekends, and major sporting event dates.
