Description:
Key Responsibilities
Household Management (75%)
  • Errand Extraordinaire: Tackle the weekly grocery runs, Target trips, dry cleaner drop-offs, tailor pick-ups, and Goodwill donations.
  • Organization Guru: Take charge of occasional organization projects (think streamlining the boys’ closets, sorting basement clothing bins, and decluttering garage cupboards).
  • Home Upkeep: Keep the family laundry moving and prepare delicious, wholesome dinners for the family.
  • Furry Friend Care: Take the family dog on a daily walk.
Nanny & After-School Care (25%)
  • The Afternoon Routine: Pick up the younger boys from school, prep their after-school snacks, and get them organized and focused for homework.
  • Chauffeur Duty: Drive the boys to practices and activities as needed. (In the summertime, this shifts to fun outings like pool days and local activities!)
  • Mentorship: Act as a supportive sounding board, occasionally checking in with the oldest son on his homework.
What We Are Looking For
  • The Right Personality: You are empathetic, kind, and nurturing, yet able to maintain clear, direct boundaries with kids.
  • A Proactive Mindset: You have a proven track record of multitasking in busy households. You don't wait to be asked; you anticipate needs and execute tasks efficiently.
  • Strong Communicator: You are comfortable speaking up, asking questions, and seeking clarity to ensure everyone is on the same page.
  • Logistics: You must have a reliable car and a clean driving record. (Note: While the family has a new teenage driver using their extra vehicle, there may be times when a family car is available for your use, but your own transport is required for consistency).
  • Flexibility: While daily hours are predictable, you are open to occasional evenings, extra hours, or overnight care with advance notice.
Why You’ll Love This Job
  • This isn't just a job; it’s an opportunity to become a vital partner to two appreciative, working parents.
  • You’ll have the autonomy to manage the home during the day, followed by rewarding afternoons helping shape three great kids.
