Job Summary

The Data Steward is responsible for the maintenance and understanding of data within Hillman systems, while ensuring quality, compliance, and clarity over the data they oversee. Data Stewards will be the sole source of maintaining all item and customer driven data for The Hillman Group.

Essential Job Functions *

  1. Daily item and customer set up and maintenance of information ensuring that data quality and standards are being utilized as set forth by the Hillman Data Governance Team.
  2. Lead the consistent use of item and customer facing data resources across the organization
  3. Identify and support business needs and recommend holistic solutions that integrate with existing data and technical solutions.
  4. Participate in continuous improvement and data cleansing projects
  5. Work cooperatively with all stakeholders to ensure project success.
  6. Participate in data governance and carry out decisions
  7. Educate colleagues within stakeholder groups and within the Analytics team on best practices around data governance
  8. Hold self and others accountable to deliver high quality results with passion, energy, and drive to meet business priorities.
  9. Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business or 2-3+ years of related work experience
