Quality Assurance Manager - Data amp; Analytics
Hybrid in Lenexa, Kansas

Where You’ll Work
This position is based in our Lenexa, KS office. We leverage a hybrid working model working three days in the office, two days optional remote work.

What You’ll Do
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for defining and evolving the QA strategy for all data and analytics products, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance across dashboards, data pipelines, and APIs. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and analysts, this role combines hands-on testing expertise with leadership responsibilities, including managing QA analysts and ensuring the quality of their output.
  • Own and continuously improve the QA strategy for data and analytics products.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage QA analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to standards.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for testing processes and quality assurance, including multiple phases and types of testing.
  • Design and execute comprehensive test cases for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Validate accuracy across all product aspects, including features, data accuracy, security, integrity, performance, and reliability.
  • Review and approve test documentation and defect reports prepared by QA analysts.
  • Collaborate with developers and analysts to clarify requirements and edge cases, advocating for quality and influencing product decisions.
  • Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual testing overhead and improve efficiency.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
  • Develop scripts for data validation using SQL and Python.
  • Stay current with emerging QA technologies and recommend improvements.
What You’ll Bring to CHA
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Proven experience managing QA analysts or similar roles.
  • Experience testing data-centric products (dashboards, ETL pipelines, APIs).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation.
  • Experience with scripting languages for automation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).
  • Expertise in QA methodologies: regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete, Postman).
  • Preferred familiarity with validating healthcare data presented in data visualization tools, including metric validation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for team management and cross-functional collaboration.
