About the team:
The Global Audit Data Analytics Team within Global Technology Audit collaborates with audit and business units to identify and mitigate risks through advanced data analytics and strategic insights. The team applies expertise in data strategy, statistical modeling, and visualization to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. Focused on data quality and innovative solutions, members support Walmart’s mission of delivering value. • Identify and assess appropriate data sources aligned with business requirements and service level agreements to ensure data fitness for purpose.
• Formulate technical solutions by translating business problems into data-driven approaches using advanced analytics and automation techniques.
• Design and implement advanced data visualizations to communicate complex insights effectively, tailoring presentations to stakeholder needs.
• Develop and execute data strategies that maximize business value while ensuring compliance with data quality, governance, and security standards.
• Lead data quality management initiatives, including profiling, cleansing, and monitoring to maintain high data integrity.
• Mentor team members, fostering skill development and promoting continuous improvement in analytics practices.

What you'll bring:

• Extensive experience in data analytics, including big data technologies such as Apache Spark and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Python programming for data analysis, visualization, and automation.
• Strong understanding of data quality management, data governance, and enterprise data architecture principles.
• Ability to translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Expertise in developing and implementing data strategies that unlock business value and support decision-making.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
