About the Role:

Suzano is looking for a Data Scientist to help drive data-informed decision-making across our business operations. This role will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing predictive models, identifying trends, and delivering actionable insights that support operational excellence, sustainability initiatives, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical expertise with business acumen and a passion for solving complex problems through data.We are searching for someone passionate about data science and advanced analytics, with aspirations to grow with Suzano's international footprint.

WhatYou'reGoing to Do:

  • Analyze large, structured, and unstructured datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.

  • Develop, test, and deploy predictive and prescriptive analytics models to support operational and strategic objectives.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions.

  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Perform data mining, statistical analysis, and machine learning modeling to improve business performance and decision-making.

  • Partner with IT, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and other business functions to drive analytics projects.

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards are maintained across analytics initiatives.

What We Expect from You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • 3+ years of experience in a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Business Intelligence, or related analytics role.

  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or other data analysis and programming languages.
