Job description

Tharros is actively pursuing an opportunity to support the Air Force Mission Assurance Construct Support (MACS) program, providing mission analysis, base assessment support, and data platform management services that strengthen the Air Force's Mission Assurance Construct.

Tharros is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to translate Mission Assurance data into decision-ready analytical products for senior Air Force and Department of War leadership. Where the Data Manager builds and sustains Mission Assurance data infrastructure, the Data Analyst operates at the analytical output layer - developing COA analyses, ROI-based risk models, decision-support briefings, and tasking packages that enable leaders to evaluate options and direct risk response actions. This position uses Palantir AI capabilities to develop and apply advanced analytical techniques in support of Mission Assurance decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop decision-ready Mission Assurance analytical products that help senior Air Force and Department of War leaders understand, compare, and act on risks to mission execution.
  • Support development, documentation, and comparative evaluation of courses of action (COAs) to reduce, mitigate, transfer, or manage Mission Assurance risks under Government direction.
  • Build and apply ROI-based analytical models comparing COA alternatives by cost, benefit, timeline, implementation complexity, dependencies, and expected mission risk reduction.
  • Use Palantir AI and other advanced analytical techniques to assess COA options, model risk scenarios, automate analysis, and improve the timeliness and consistency of decision-support products.
  • Aggregate, normalize, prioritize, and analyze Mission Assurance risks across missions, capabilities, installations, and geographic regions to support enterprise-level visibility and comparison.
  • Maintain traceability among Mission Assurance risks, mission dependencies, critical capability data, assessment findings, recommended COAs, governance decisions, and execution status.
  • Prepare and deliver executive briefings, risk summaries, COA comparisons, monitoring products, and decision-support artifacts for AF/A33B, MAJCOMs, installation leaders, capability providers, and governance forums.
  • Translate complex analytical findings, data model outputs, and risk assessments into clear, actionable products accessible to senior military and civilian leaders.
  • Prepare, coordinate, track, and close tasking, staffing, and coordination packages related to Mission Assurance risk response actions using Government-directed tools such as TMT or successor systems.
  • Support Mission Assurance monitoring, reporting, dashboards, alerts, and analytical workflows that provide visibility into Task Critical Assets, mission dependencies, emerging conditions, and potential impacts to mission execution.
