Position Summary: We are looking for inherently curious people. We want someone obsessed with understanding the 'why'. The Data Analyst position is for people who love data, love analysis and are passionate about improving processes. In this role, you will predominately use a tech stack of Tableau, SQL, Visual Studio Code, Snowflake, and Excel to answer questions about data that is ETL'd from our ERP, CRM, and various internal and external data sources. You'll be part of a high-performing team that is highly visual to the executives of the organization and have an immediate ability to make an impact and bring value to the entire business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Dissect business processes using data with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Query and analyze data from various data sources.
  • Concise logical explanations for a variety of personas, from C-suite down to individual contributors.
  • Regression modeling for A/B and multivariate analysis.
  • Creation of Tableau workbooks and understanding advanced Tableau formulas such as LOD and Parameters.
  • Creation of SQL queries that optimize performance
  • Work in teams with individuals from the analytics organization as well as individual business units.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Highly proficient in Tableau, SQL, and Excel.
  • Highly proficient in understanding data structure and how joins change the grain of a dataset.
  • Strong knowledge of data management concepts, data modeling, and database technologies.
  • Working knowledge of modeling for customer acquisition cost, customer lifetime value, and customer retention measurements.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and/or statistical analysis, to solve complex business problems. Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in formulating data strategies, developing roadmaps, and executing analytical initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Strong research, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills required (taking concepts and ideas and translating them into solutions).
  • Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without "dropping the ball."
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a "roll up your sleeves" and "win every day" mentality.
  • Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in accomplishing goals.
  • Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately.
  • Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Certifications:
  • Master's degree in an analytical field, or MBA.
  • Statistics background in regression, A/B testing.
  • SQL.
  • Snowflake, Salesforce, and NetSuite experience.
  • Tableau certification.
  • Ability to use AI to optimize job performance.

  • Normal office environment.
  • Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment.
  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
