Position: Marketing Data Analyst
Department: AE Media
Reporting to: Lead Strategic Marketing and Performance Coach
Location: Topeka, KS - Onsite

As a Marketing Data Analyst, you'll transform marketing and media data into meaningful insights that drive smarter business decisions. Partnering with our Strategic Marketing Coaches, Digital, Media, and Creative teams, you'll build dashboards, analyze campaign performance, and deliver reporting that helps financial advisors improve their marketing results. If you enjoy solving problems with data and making a measurable impact, you'll thrive in this role.
This role is located in Topeka, Kansas, and it is exclusively an on-site work arrangement. Additionally, please note that the company does not extend sponsorship opportunities at this time.
What you’ll do:
  • Support marketing analytics projects through data preparation, validation, and dashboard development.
  • Assist with data lake updates and management by loading and refreshing data, maintaining tables, and performing data hygiene and quality assurance checks.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI, Sigma, or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Analyze marketing performance across digital, broadcast, email, CRM, and web analytics channels.
  • Write SQL queries to extract, join, validate, and analyze marketing data from multiple sources.
  • Manage and maintain marketing data within our data lake, ensuring accuracy and data quality.
  • Partner with Strategic Marketing amp; Performance Coaches to develop reporting that measures marketing effectiveness.
  • Fulfill ad hoc reporting requests for Strategic Marketing, Digital, Media, and Creative teams.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and data anomalies while providing actionable insights to business partners.
  • Maintain documentation for marketing metrics, data definitions, and reporting processes.
  • Continuously improve reporting, dashboards, and data quality to help teams make informed decisions.
Experience you’ll bring:
  • 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, marketing analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets.
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI, Sigma, or similar BI tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy.
Bonus Points:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience working with marketing and media performance data, including paid digital advertising, broadcast media, email marketing, CRM, or web analytics.
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis or automation.
