As a Construction Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in all facets of the execution of a project. This may include pre-planning, pre-construction, design, mobilization, construction, and closeout phases of each project. The position requires excellent listening and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment. Construction experience is preferred, but by no means required.

What We Ask of You:

  • Assist Project Managers with assembling and processing submittals, RFI’s, Shop Drawings, MWBE reporting, QAQC documentation.
  • Prepare and process project documents and requests for new and existing projects
  • Assist Project Managers with subcontractor and vendor communication
  • Facilitate documentation for the start and close of projects
  • Collection, preparation, and updating of Operational and Maintenance Manuals, Testing, and quality control reporting
  • Engage and process certified payroll for projects
  • Support Project Team members with any needs that arise

Experience & Competencies:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • 2-3 years of office experience
  • Construction industry experience is preferred but not required
  • Excellent phone etiquette & computer skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel & Word)
  • Need to have good organizational and communication skills
  • Must have the integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to represent the company in the most professional, positive manner

Danforth offers a competitive benefits package for eligible employees, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, paid time off, and a 401(k) with company match. The estimated compensation range for this role is $50,000–$70,000, based on individual experience, qualifications, and location.
