Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Cybersecurity Strategy & Risk Consultant position for our client.

Location: Marysville, OH

Duration: 12 months

A Security Consultant within Cyber Strategy & Risk specializes in implementing security solutions for clients and stakeholders, while addressing security, regulatory, risk, and compliance issues. They maintain a current understanding of industry trends and hold multiple certifications in key cyber security areas. As a trusted advisor, they lead in identifying risks and developing mitigation plans, and define business-driven security strategies and roadmaps. This role requires a professional who can effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of security initiatives and the achievement of business objectives.

Required skills:

  • 5+ years of IT business work experience
  • Desired Certifications: OpenFAIR, CCSK, CISSP, CISM or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking
  • Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding
  • Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics
  • Knowledge of IT security policies, standards, and procedures; ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to ensure cyber security compliance.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity enterprise programs, policies, and standards to govern the organization’s approach towards protecting their systems; Ability to align them with regulations, organization’s context, operating environment, and cyber threat

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $55 to $60 hourly. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
