We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to support administrative and data management activities in Rhode Island. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who works carefully, handles high volumes of information with accuracy, and is comfortable managing records across multiple systems. The person in this role will help maintain organized documentation, provide clerical assistance to internal teams, and contribute to the accuracy of provider-related information.
Responsibilities:
• Enter and update provider and credentialing information with a high level of speed and precision.
• Maintain database records by reviewing entries, correcting discrepancies, and ensuring information remains current.
• Organize, create, and manage departmental filing systems for both digital and supporting documents.
• Provide day-to-day clerical assistance to network recruiters and relations team members.
• Input data into multiple platforms while verifying that fields, attachments, and related files are complete and accurate.
• Support documentation workflows tied to provider records and credentialing materials.
• Assist the team with administrative tasks as priorities shift and additional support is needed.
• Contribute to data maintenance activities related to the implementation of a new credentialing system.• Demonstrated experience performing data entry in a fast-paced office environment.
• Strong accuracy and close attention to detail when handling numeric and text-based information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and navigate more than one database at a time.
• Strong typing skills with the ability to enter information efficiently and correctly.
