Job description

Overview
Amyx is seeking to hire a Functional SME to join our Defense client in O'Fallon, IL.
Responsibilities
  • This position will require the ability to provide functional requirements, business process, and SME support across DoD stakeholders.
  • The Functional SME / Functional Analyst shall possess demonstrated experience supporting DoD or Federal programs in the following areas:
    • Functional Requirements & Analysis Requirements.
    • The development and maintenance of functional and cross-functional requirements artifacts, support to requirements reviews, validation, and stakeholder coordination and familiarity with requirements management tools and documentation standards.
    • They must be able to show the capability in Business Process & BPR Support to include analysis of current and future state business processes, development and review of Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) artifacts, support to policy, instruction, and guidance updates impacting functional processes.
    • They must have the skills to engage in Stakeholder Engagement & SME Support by providing functional expertise to DoD stakeholders across Services and Agencies, active participation in IPTs, working groups, and governance forums, translating operational needs into actionable functional requirements and coordinating across functional, technical, and acquisition communities.
    • They need have have experience with support to audit readiness activities related to functional and business processes, documentation of controls, process evidence, and corrective actions, and Coordination with financial, technical, and program stakeholders during audits
  • The primary responsibilities include:
    • Elicits, analyzes, and manages functional and cross-functional requirements.
    • Supports BPR efforts and DOTmLPF-P assessments.
    • Engages stakeholders across Services and Agencies.
    • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

Physical Demands
