TAT Technologies' Greensboro site serves as the company's Center of Excellence for Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) and landing gear MRO services, as well as aircraft component leasing solutions. Supporting commercial and military aircraft operators worldwide, the site provides integrated maintenance and asset management solutions that maximize fleet availability, reduce downtime, and improve operational performance.

We are seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to support and manage day-to-day Supply Chain Operations. The Supply Chain Manager is a hands-on, hybrid leadership role responsible for ensuring all supply chain and inventory functions are performed accurately, while actively participating in daily tactical execution. In this "working manager" capacity, you will support procurement, supplier engagement, and material control strategies while rolling up your sleeves to issue purchase orders, expedite critical parts, and engage suppliers on past due purchase orders. This critical role ensures the seamless flow of high-value aircraft components, tooling, and repair services needed to meet strict turnaround times (TAT) and stringent FAA/EASA regulatory compliance in a fast-paced MRO environment. This role reports directly to the Supply Chain Director.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Director to ensure day-to-day Supply Chain activities are completed on time and accurately.
  • Drive and follow through with assigned with Supply Chain projects assigned by the Supply Chain Director with a high level of accountability and responsibility.
  • Hands-On Procurement & Material Expediting: Personally manage day-to-day purchasing activities, including issuing POs for parts, tracking vendor deliveries, and resolving urgent supply chain bottlenecks.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate daily with Production, Quality Assurance, and Customer Service to align material readiness with a high frequency check-in with OPS to maintain alignment to inputs and unexpected work scope changes.
  • Prepare and attend all Supply Chain and OPS meetings that require Supply Chain representation.
  • Maintain the Material Shortage file and provide daily updates with parts-status and solutions. Communicate directly to Supply Chain Director and Operations Leadership.
  • Review and manage purchase order data to maintain accuracy, purchase order age, and engage suppliers weekly on past due orders, under the direct guidance of the Supply Chain Director
  • Provide regular status updates to the Supply Chain Director on assigned projects and critical actions.
  • Conduct weekly Supply Chain Metrics review with the Supply Chain Director and Supply Chain team and drive meaningful discussions that promote and foster Supply Chain readiness improvement and accountability.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent combination of industry experience). APICS/ASCM certification is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of aerospace supply chain experience, with specific background in an MRO shop, heavy maintenance facility, or aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of aviation quality standards (AS9100) and airworthiness documentation requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MRO/ERP software systems (e.g., Quantum Control) and strong analytical capability.
  • Candidates must possess strong prioritization skills to effectively balance high-level departmental management with urgent, hands-on daily tasks. ITAR  background check compliance will be required.
