Product Manager

Introduction: The Product Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Transportation Management System (TMS) capabilities. They will work closely with transportation operations, logistics leadership, carriers, and business stakeholders to drive process improvements, cost optimization, automation, and product innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for TMS capabilities.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements.
  • Manage the TMS product backlog and prioritize features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release planning activities.
  • Drive enhancements across core transportation processes.
  • Ensure seamless connectivity between TMS and enterprise applications.
  • Define product success metrics and monitor transportation KPIs.
  • Act as the primary product owner and subject matter expert for TMS initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or Supply Chain Technology.
  • Hands-on experience with an enterprise TMS such as Manhattan TMS, Oracle OTM, Blue Yonder TMS, SAP TM, MercuryGate, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of transportation and logistics operations.
  • Experience managing product roadmaps, Agile backlogs, and release planning.
  • Experience leading TMS implementations or enhancements.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience integrating TMS with other systems.
  • Experience in different transportation operations.
  • Exposure to modern integration architectures.
  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, distribution, or 3PL environments.
  • Experience with transportation analytics and cost optimization.
