Job description

1. Position SummaryThe General Construction Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This role assists project managers and site supervisors, ensuring technical quality, compliance with safety regulations, and timely delivery within budget and scope.
2. Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of construction activities and resources.
  • Interpret and review engineering plans, specifications, and contracts.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.
  • Monitor project progress, track costs, and update schedules.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on project status.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Support procurement activities and inventory management for materials and equipment.

3. Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction engineering or project management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and safety standards.
