Summary:

North Central International is a full-service International Truck dealer group with locations across Minnesota, Northern Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota. We offer truck sales and service, parts sales, and Idealease truck leasing/rentals. Our primary focus is to keep customers on the road by having an exceptional experience within our organizations. The Parts Delivery Driver role is responsible for performing local parts deliveries to customers and vendors, assisting with shipping and receiving operations, and supporting the Parts Department with various general tasks as needed. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate parts distribution, maintaining customer satisfaction, and contributing to smooth day-to-day operations within the department.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
    (CDL not required unless driving larger company vehicles)

  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for local deliveries

  • Basic knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures and inventory handling

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading parts

  • Basic computer skills for data entry or processing shipping labels

  • Good communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

  • Strong attention to detail and reliability

  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Prior experience in a parts, warehouse, or dealership environment is preferred but not required

Essential Functions:

1.  Perform Local Deliveries and Pickups

  • Drive a company vehicle to deliver or pick up parts from customers, vendors, or other locations.

  • Ensure accuracy of orders and obtain required signatures or delivery confirmations.

2.  Assist with Shipping and Receiving

  • Receive incoming shipments: inspect, verify, and document contents.

  • Prepare outgoing shipments: pack, label, and process orders using shipping systems.

3.  Support Parts Inventory Management

  • Stock parts on shelves or in storage bins in an organized and accurate manner.

  • Participate in inventory counts, shelf labeling, and organization.

4.  Provide General Departmental Support

  • Assist team members with parts pulls, returns, or locating items.

  • Handle customer and internal requests professionally and promptly.

5.  Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment

  • Keep delivery vehicle, stockroom, and shipping/receiving areas clean and organized.

  • Follow all company safety procedures and report hazards promptly.

6.  Operate Equipment Safely

  • Use hand trucks, carts, and other material handling equipment properly.

  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

7.  Communicate Effectively

  • Maintain clear and respectful communication with customers, vendors, and coworkers.

  • Notify the supervisor of delivery issues, discrepancies, or supply needs.

8.  Assist with Various Department Tasks:

  • Support other duties as assigned to ensure smooth parts department operations including reassignment to other roles or tasks as needed.
