PFP Logistics is looking for a Cold Storage Site Supervisor to join our team in Rincon, GA !

Position
  • This role will supervise a team of associates at a cold storage warehouse , overseeing freight handling, unloading, palletizing, and other assigned warehouse operations.
  • Main Objective: Build and manage a strong, dependable team while ensuring safe, efficient, and productive warehouse operations that meet our client's expectations.
Schedule + Pay
  • Schedule: Monday - Saturday | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Salary: $60,000- $70,000 annually, dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
  • Daily Responsibilities:
  • Navigate customer requests and workload fluctuations
  • Supervise and schedule team members performing freight handling and other assigned tasks
  • Monitor productivity, attendance, and adherence to safety protocols
  • Train and coach staff on proper procedures, equipment use, and cold storage best practices
  • Ensure product is handled safely and accurately throughout warehouse operations
  • Maintain documentation and communicate any discrepancies, damages, or operational concerns
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Lead by example and maintain a positive, accountable work environment
  • Weekly Responsibilities:
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding new team members
  • Analyze Profit and Loss Statement
  • Review team performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Communicate operational updates and needs with PFP Logistics leadership
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience supervising or managing a team toward set goals, objectives, or service-level agreements
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in a business environment
  • Computer: Experience using Microsoft Office
  • Leadership: Effective leadership, organization, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Warehouse: Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
  • Physical: Comfortable working in a cold storage environment and able to lift, push, pull, and carry 40–50 lbs. consistently while performing physically demanding warehouse tasks
